...a vocal music series for Atlantans designed to fill their Sunday afternoons with art songs.  Sunday of Songs is the only professional art song series in metro Atlanta.

Enjoy the timeless sounds of Schubert, Mozart, Bellini, Faure, and other great composers at one of Capitol City Opera's  Sunday of Songs  recitals. The vocal series consists of recitals that take place in local Atlanta churches. Capitol City kicked off the series with a recital at the Church of the Atonement on March 21, 2004.

 

Sundays of Song  was created to offer the greater Atlanta community an outlet to experience fine classical music free of cost, offer professional opportunities to local singers, and to build an awareness of CCOC.  We are excited about this program and believe people will not only enjoy the music we have to offer but will be impressed by the local talent Atlanta has to offer.
